IMPORTANT NOTICE
Applicants are advised to apply for visa/passport well in advance to avoid inconvenience.
The processing time for visa applications is:
- Visa applications received at the counter: same day
- Visa applications received by mail: ten business days, excluding time taken in the mail
Please see the "Consular Service Schedule" for time
taken to process applications.
In case of emergency, submit application at the counter of the Consulate for same day delivery..
Confirmation of delivery/Acknowledgement of application at the Consulate is available with your mailing agency and can be accessed using the tracking number. Applicants are advised not to enquire status of application before the due date as the Consulate is not in a position to entertain enquiries of visa/passport applications before the processing time indicated in the schedule.
Applications received without return mailing charge of US $ 15/- and incomplete applications will not be processed. It will be returned by ordinary mail in due course. The Consulate does not take any responsibility for postal delay.
