Changes in Consular Services Coverage with effect from 1st October 2012

With effect from 1 October 2012:-
The consular jurisdiction of Consulate General of India, Houston over the following states would cover the full range of Passport, Visa, OCI, PIO, Surrender Certificates, Miscellaneous services and Consular outreach activities: Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
For the following states, the Consulate General of India, Houston would have consular jurisdiction and provide Passport, Miscellaneous Services and Consular outreach activities: Colorado, Nebraska and New Mexico.
For the following states, the Consulate General of India, Houston would provide the services for Visa/OCI/PIO and Surrender Certificate outside its consular jurisdiction until further notice:Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi.
